An adult performer has opened up about the toll an intense filming schedule took on her body after moving from New Zealand to the United States. Hayley Davies revealed on Holly Randall’s Unfiltered podcast that she shot around 300 scenes in just six months, averaging two a day over the entire period.
Davies said her workload became overwhelming because she was filming and also editing her own content. Even on days she wasn’t collaborating with other creators, she was still spending hours producing and preparing material, meaning she never truly had days off. Some days were especially grueling — she recalled filming up to five scenes in a single day.
Over time, the nonstop schedule began to affect her physically. She described dealing with significant discomfort, to the point where she started relying on pain medication to get through her days. Despite the strain, she kept pushing herself, telling the host her motivation came from rapid career growth and being highly driven by data and performance metrics. Every new upload boosted her numbers, making it difficult to pull back and rest.
Davies said she has now slowed her pace after receiving help with editing and becoming more aware of her physical limits. Her experience highlights how the pressure to stay relevant and constantly produce content can take a serious toll on creators in the adult entertainment industry — even when success appears to be skyrocketing.
