Rap God Eminem recently revealed that he was going to become a grandpa in an emotional music video where, in a rare sight, he teared up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some fans said it was the first time they’d ever seen him cry, as in the video his daughter Hailie Jade handed him a sports jersey with ‘Grandpa 1’ on the back<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yep, it turns out that she<\/a> and husband Evan McClintock are expecting a new member of the family, and in the video to ‘Temporary’ grandad-to-be Eminem<\/a> held up an ultra scan picture of the baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a lovely tender moment and the music video<\/a> is full of heartfelt clips of his life with Hailie, even as the lyrics leave a message for her about what things might be like when he’s gone<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately he’s still sticking around for a good while yet, and he’ll get to see his grandkid soon enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pregnancy has come as a surprise and Hailie explained how she was able to keep the fact that she had a baby on the way a secret for so long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It turns out she got by with a little help from her friends, revealing that her best pal Brittany Ednie had secretly been quaffing her alcoholic drinks to keep it a secret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the latest episode of the Just A Little Shady<\/em> podcast she said her friend ‘covered for’ her during a recent wedding she was at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ednie explained: “I need to also defend myself now that this is public knowledge, that you are pregnant, because at said wedding, people did not know that she was pregnant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“So she was, you know, grabbing a drink, not consuming the drink as a responsible parent does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Whenever people were turned around, she would hand me her drink, and I would chug so it looked as if she was continuously drinking throughout the night.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hailie praised her friend for ‘taking one for the team’ by drinking her alcohol without even really being asked to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said she ‘never really asked you to do it’ and it was just ‘an unspoken thing with our eyes’ that got her to help out and keep the secret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now they don’t have to pretend anymore since the announcement, which has made the news public to millions of people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hailie Jade married partner Evan McClintock earlier this year<\/a>, and footage in the ‘Temporary’ video shows the father-of-the-bride dancing with his daughter while she wore her wedding dress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
